Water resources expert joins AMEC

Eduardo A. Latimer, Ph.D., PE has joined the engineering and environmental services firm AMEC as technical director of water resources for the company's Arizona operations.

December 28, 2001 — Eduardo A. Latimer, Ph.D., PE has joined the engineering and environmental services firm AMEC as technical director of water resources for the company's Arizona operations.

Dr. Latimer brings more than a decade of technical and business development experience in water resources engineering to AMEC.

Operating from AMEC's Earth & Environmental office in Phoenix, Dr. Latimer will assist private and public sector clients throughout Arizona. Dr. Latimer's expertise includes stormwater management, soil and water conservation engineering, irrigation and drainage planning and design, and water resources development. His senior project management experience includes more than 50 projects and $8 million in fees.

Dr. Latimer has advanced graduate degrees from Texas A&M University. He is a member of several professional entities, including the Arizona Water and Pollution Control Association, American Public Works Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Agricultural Engineers.
