In this role, Martin will develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales strategies for the company in addition to facilitating new and existing business partnerships.

Driven by innovation, Vortex is pioneering air and water treatment options for a myriad of applications, including consumer, commercial and military systems. Products range from counter-top units to whole-house systems to large-scale installations.

"Ron brings a wealth of industry and business experience to this position," said Vortex Corporation CEO Ray Denkewicz. Ron will be instrumental in working with key industry leaders to leverage Vortex's versatile platform to offer a healthier solution to air and water treatment."

Martin was previously vice president of product development for Triton Systems -- an applied research and development company for government and commercial products. Throughout his 30-year career, he's held executive positions at Shurtape Technologies and Tyco Adhesives and served as a business consultant for various private and public clients.

He earned both his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master's degree in plastics from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell campus. He also holds an MBA from Northeastern University.

Vortex Corporation (www.vortexpurewater.com) is a global innovator of chemical-free water purification products for consumer and commercial use. Its product portfolio is based on patented technology that reproduces the photo-oxidation process that naturally occurs in the environment. The purification system goes beyond simple filtration to catalyze ozone by ultraviolet light, destroying contaminates while infusing the water with fresh oxygen. The company offers its Vortex® Water Machine to consumers who want to ensure they are drinking the most pure and healthy water available. Its rugged Vortex Voyager portable unit delivers this same pristine quality drinking water from standing, unsanitary sources for remote use, whether in a recreational or emergency preparedness/disaster relief situation.
