MORGANTOWN, WV, Feb. 11, 2003 -- Since 1979, the NSFC has helped improve public health and the environment by providing assistance and information related to wastewater problems to small communities.
In an effort to enhance our services and offerings to the wastewater industry, the Clearinghouse is embarking on a new endeavor by inviting the private and non-governmental sectors of the industry to become sponsors of the NSFC.
Tax-deductible contributions will be used:
* to help the NSFC and industry reach new audiences through increased public exposure,
* to heighten awareness of wastewater mismanagement issues,
* to support the presence of industry at venues such as the Manufacturers Conference and;
* to facilitate communications between manufacturers and other sectors of the wastewater industry.
In addition to public recognition for their support, all sponsors will be acknowledged in NSFC publications, including the Small Flows Quarterly (SFQ) and Pipeline, the NSFC Web site, and at conferences, such as the Regulators and Manufacturers conferences.
The SFQ has a circulation of approximately 45,000 and was downloaded more than 8,000 times during the last quarter. The NSFC web site has approximately 10,000 different users per month.
