Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. will be offering pipe products to help repair New Jersey's infrastructure damaged by the two recent major storms.

HILLIARD, OHIO, Nov. 21, 2012 -- Steve Sweeney, President of the New Jersey Senate, today announced that Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) will be offering pipe products to help repair New Jersey's infrastructure damaged by the two recent major storms.

"ADS' work is well known to me and my constituents thanks to their local manufacturing plant in Logan Township," said Senate President Sweeney. "We are thankful for their assistance as we move forward in rebuilding a better, stronger New Jersey. ADS is helping to set the example that we hope all our friends and neighbors in the business community will follow, because, at the end of the day, we are all in this together."

The company's N-12® high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and SaniTite® polypropylene (PP) pipe products are manufactured in diameters up to 60 inches. ADS also makes a variety of other products for the storm drain, retention/detention, water quality and sanitary sewer application markets. ADS products are utilized in commercial construction, highway, airport and railroad projects, and agricultural fields throughout the United States and the world. The company has a global network of 56 domestic and international manufacturing plants and 28 distribution centers with more than 3,500 employees. The Logan Township plant opened in 2007 and is located at the intersection of Center Square and Pedricktown Roads.

"When we opened the Logan Township plant, we celebrated by joining Senator Sweeney to help create an athletic facility here in Gloucester County, N.J., for special needs children," stated Joe Chlapaty, Chairman and CEO of the Ohio-based firm. "Our program of being a good citizen has many facets that include being part of the Miracle League to bring athletic facilities to special needs children.” ADS was presented with the ‘Corporate Recognition Award’ in 2007 by New Jersey’s Gloucester County Special Services Education Foundation, Inc. for its efforts on this project.

“It has always been part of our culture to contribute to the communities where we are located,” expressed Chlapaty. “Now we also want to support the rebuilding efforts of New Jersey in this time of dire need by making our products and engineering team available. We thank Senator Sweeney for this opportunity to once again be of service."
