Montgomery Watson names Robert Uhler President and CEO

Montgomery Watson, Inc., a provider in environmental engineering, construction and infrastructure services, announced that it is creating two full-time executive positions, Chairman of the corporation and President/CEO.

PASADENA, CA and BROOMFIELD, CO, Dec. 19, 2000— Montgomery Watson, Inc., a provider of environmental engineering, construction and infrastructure services, announced that it is creating two full-time executive positions, Chairman of the corporation and President/CEO.

Robert B. Uhler will succeed Murli Tolaney as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2001. Tolaney will remain Chairman of the company through 2004. The new executive structure will carry on the leadership legacy responsible for expanding the profile of Montgomery Watson into a multi-faceted global corporation, while at the same time readying the organization for a new era of expansion.

Uhler, a 25-year veteran of Montgomery Watson, will assume overall responsibility for the company�s worldwide operations and strategic direction. Tolaney will focus on external aspects, such as mergers and acquisitions, and key client relationships.

The executive team of Tolaney and Uhler has achieved a unique record of accomplishment in the past decade. This collaboration has seen Montgomery Watson expand dramatically from a regional engineering services provider to a corporation with multiple subsidiaries, substantial capital strength and international reach in over 30 countries around the globe.

Uhler is currently president of Montgomery Watson Americas, a $400 million business unit spanning North and Latin America. During his four year tenure, this operation has achieved impressive growth, profitability and a reputation for innovative client service. He has also served as chief operating officer of Montgomery Watson�s industrial and federal operations, and as the company�s director of strategy and marketing.

Uhler is credited with several of Montgomery Watson�s successful growth initiatives, including the development of environmental remediation expertise, as well as the creation of several operating subsidiaries, such as MW Constructors, Inc., mWired, and Info-Structures.

Tolaney has served as chief executive officer since 1992, shepherding it from a revenue base of $200 million to $600 million in fiscal year 2000. During his tenure, the corporation achieved tremendous dramatic global growth, both organic and through acquisitions.
