• Texas-based utility implements next-generation CIS solution to support expanding business

COLCHESTER, VT, and EL PASO, TX, July 11, 2007 -- Systems & Software Inc., a leading Customer Information Systems (CIS) solution provider for utilities, announced today that El Paso Water Utilities (EPWU) has successfully implemented their enQuesta 3e™ solution.

enQuesta 3e was selected by EPWU to help support expansion plans, due in part to the 20,000 U.S. troops soon to be stationed at Fort Bliss. Departments across the utility will benefit from a central system which tracks the progress and status of new account creation through a single portal view. Additionally, EPWU will look to add enQuesta's Stormwater Billing module. This comes after recent flooding caused extensive damage to the city's infrastructure.

"We expect the benefits of the Stormwater Billing module to be exponential," stated Nick Costanzo, Assistant General Manager, EPWU, Costanzo continued, "The addition of the (Stormwater Billing) module will assist us in funding necessary infrastructure improvements as well as meeting current maintenance and capacity demands and population growth."
