ENSR International announces new president and CEO

ENSR International has announced that Robert C. Weber, P.E., has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer and assumes responsibility for ENSR's worldwide operations.

Westford, MA, March 7, 2003 -- ENSR International, a worldwide environmental services firm, has announced that Robert C. Weber, P.E. has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer and assumes responsibility for ENSR's worldwide operations.

In making the announcement, Michael Decker, Chairman of ENSR's Board of Directors, stated that Weber will lead ENSR's strategic plan to build a strong client focus and continue profitable growth.

Decker added "ENSR is in an extraordinary position now, poised for sustained growth with its reduced debt and strategic global footprint. Bob Weber's track record of managing profitable business units and developing effective strategies and partnerships improves our ability to provide increased environmental services, even in this difficult economic climate."

A highly experienced environmental services executive and technical leader, Weber joined ENSR in 1981 after serving with US EPA. Since 1998, Weber has been President of ENSR North America and was responsible for directing ENSR's overall global account development strategy.

He launched ENSR's Key Account program, which has served to build strong client relationships among ENSR's major accounts. Prior to 1988, he served in progressive leadership and technical roles with ENSR including posts as Central and Western Region Vice President, and Senior Industrial Remediation Program Leader.

According to Weber: "Our future business growth will result from continuing to build an engaged and motivated workforce focused on adding value and superior client relationships. Market research and our recent experience indicates that being a client's "best" service provider has a very positive impact on average project revenue and account growth, compared to typical client-vendor transactions. Our staff is poised meet this challenge."

A registered professional engineer in three states, Weber received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, an M.S. in Environmental Management /Public Health from the University of North Carolina, and attended the Dartmouth College, Amos Tuck School Executive Business Program.
