Bentley Systems Incorporated, a global infrastructure engineering software company, yesterday announced its Year in Infrastructure 2021 Founders’ Honorees.

The awards recognize organizations or individuals whose projects or actions contributed notably to the company’s infrastructure advancement and/or environmental goals. During the 2021 Year in Infrastructure and Going Digital Awards virtual event earlier this week, 22 Founders’ Honorees were recognized.

Bentley Systems founders Keith and Greg Bentley, and Bentley’s Director of ES(D)G Rodrigo Fernandes, reviewed the credentials of nominations for the company’s annual Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure program.

While many of the awards were distributed across several infrastructure sectors, three notable projects from the water sector received honors this year. These honorees for the water industry are:

  • For Comprehensive Collaboration
This honor went to both CES SDC Pte Ltd, and AECOM Singapore Pte Ltd, from Singapore
They were awarded for their project at Tuas Water Reclamation Plant, working with BioSolids & Digesters

  • For Infrastructure IoT
This honor went to GZA GeoEnvironmental, a construction management services company operating in the water sector.

  • For iTwin Entrepreneur
This honor went to SewerAI, a software provider for defect detection and labelling

Images and descriptions for each of the projects are available at the Founders’ Honorees webpage.
