PARIS, France - French ultraviolet treatment (UV) company BIO-UV has said the sale of its US subsidiary will help to increase its turnover by €28 million in five years.
In early August Evoqua Water Technologies and its recently acquired Neptune-Benson announced the purchase of California-based Delta UV, which specialises in the commercial pool and spa market in North America (read WaterWorld story).
BIO-UV said that sale will allow it to focus on the development of its products on the drinking water, wastewater reuse and aquaculture markets.
Financially, the company expects the sale to help increase its turnover from €12 million in 2015 to €40 million by 2020.
Last year, more than 75% of the group’s sales were from overseas.
