The JetMix Vortex Mixing System is a patented technology, designed and manufactured by Liquid Dynamics for high efficiency mixing of liquids and suspended solids in large storage tanks. Applications include: biosolids storage, anaerobic digestion, blending/feeding, chemical mixing, flow equalization, and leachate storage. The simplicity of the system ensures very low maintenance and even permits intermittent operation on an as needed basis. A pair of nozzles are mounted inside on the bottom of the tank and can be rotated 360 degrees, creating a powerful torroidal flow pattern so unique that even it is patented.

Hach offers a new dual-stream TOC analyzer to perform on-line analysis for drinking water treatment plants. The analyzer uses a UV-persulfate analysis technique and is designed to meet the Disinfectants and Disinfection By-Products Final Rule (DBPR). A removal percentage is acquired through continuously alternating between inlet and outlet water sampling points. Continuous on-line measurement of TOC brings prompt attention to changes in source water quality, and allows operators to immediately control removal technology, reducing chemical treatment costs.

Wireless autodialer

Mission manufactures a wireless, autodialer-like, cellular-control-channel based SCADA system. It works where regular cellular doesn't and requires no phone lines. The company claims to offer the lowest cost system in its product category. The system's RTU has eight digital, two analog and one pulse counter inputs. It also has three outputs, monitors three pump run times and has an electronic key reader to track which maintenance personnel are on site. Alarms or status data go to phone (custom voice messages), fax, pager, and e-mail, and have receipt confirmation. Data also logs at a personal web site and, optionally, directly to the control room HMI. Weekly management summary reports are faxed or e-mailed. The Mission management team is the same team that six years ago was in the joint venture with Bell South where control channel communication was invented. They were also the same management team that founded the first control channel application that today has over 70,000 units across North America.
