DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Singapore water treatment company Hyflux has expanded the range of its PoroCep® Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) packaged systems.
To be launched at the WETEX event in Dubai, the four MBR systems will be available in containerised and non-containerised versions, ranging from 600 m3/day to 3,000 m3/day.
Hyflux’s patented PoroCep membranes, made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), are incorporated into the system.
The Singapore firm claimed the skid has “one of the highest membrane packing densities among submerged membranes for MBR systems available in the market”.
Previous installations for the MBR systems include textile, food & beverage sectors in Asia, Central America, Europe and Middle East regions to treat wastewater and ensure that stipulated discharge standards are met.
Nik Chia, VP of channel sales at Hyflux, said: “The newly-launched PoroCep MBR packaged system models represent Hyflux’s continued commitment to increase the accessibility of sustainable solutions. The wider range of models provide end-users with more options of pre-designed and ready-to-install MBR systems to choose from that will fit their needs.”
