i2O appoints Oracle VP to expand global smart water network

i2O, the smart water network technology company, today announced that it has appointed Kevin Rutledge as Global Sales Director. Kevin joins i2O from Oracle, where he led its professional services team working with water, gas and electricity providers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In his new role Kevin will help the world’s water companies integrate disparate data systems and adopt smart technologies to monitor, remotely control and optimise the flow of water through their networks. i2O’s technology is already used by more than 100 water utilities to save over 235 million litres of water every day and ensure supply to many millions of people.

Kevin is a seasoned sales professional and has worked with utility customers for more than 20 years. He has built dedicated business consulting and professional services practices to support utilities customers at Wipro Technologies, HCL AXON and BAE Systems Applied Intelligence.
