RJN Selected for Major Design-Build Project in Hot Springs

March 21, 2017
HOT SPRINGS, AK, MARCH 21, 2017 -- RJN Group, Inc. (RJN), a consulting engineering and specialty field services firm, is pleased to announce a new contract with the City of Hot Springs. The project, entitled Headworks and Ultraviolet Improvements Project at the Davidson Drive Wastewater Treatment Facility, has a not-to-exceed price of $8.98 million and is scheduled for substantial completion by December 2017.

The primary objective of this project is to improve the treatment performance of the plant. This project will do so by converting the existing chlorine gas disinfection process to ultraviolet disinfection. It will also improve the Facility’s influent screening and grit removal process. To save time and money, the City and RJN agreed to opt for a design-build alternative project delivery method.
