Sewer treatment authorities found a man's body in a local sewer treatment plant water well, according to a report from the local TV station KMBC.

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 24, 2001—Sewer treatment authorities found a man's body in a local sewer treatment plant water well, according to a report from the local TV station KMBC.

Employees were making a routine check of the plant when they found the body. The Jackson County medical examiner will try to make an identification, KMBC reported.

Investigators still have no leads on how the man got into the well.
