WHITE PLAINS, NY, Apr. 26, 2011 -- ITT will supply Flygt circulating water pumps for the growing power market in India under a new $11.65 million order from Indian energy company Coastal Energen.

ITT will provide a complete electrical and mechanical package for the circulating water system and seawater intake systems at Coastal Energen's thermal power plant near Tuticorin in Tamilnadu, India. This includes pumps, controls, engineering, computational fluid dynamics, sump model studies, start-up and commissioning.

This represents ITT's first major order in the power sector in India this year. And once installed, the Flygt large circulating water pumps will be among the largest sea water handling vertical column discharge pumps in the country.
