Utility £24m maintenance programme awarded in England

Utility SEMBCORP Bournemouth Water (SBW) has engaged Kier as its new delivery partner in a £24 million maintenance programme.

The contract is for two years with a potential five-year extension. The scope of Kier’s work will include repair and maintenance, mains laying and meter installation.

SBW supplies drinking water to nearly half a million people from Poole and Bournemouth in the west, along the coastal fringe to Beaulieu in the east, and north to parts of Salisbury.
