SARASOTA, Fla., March 3, 2004 -- USFilter Davis Process, Sarasota, Fla., and Kemiron, Inc., Bartow, Fla., have entered into a national supply agreement for some of Kemiron's iron-based hydrogen sulfide removal technologies.

Under the agreement, Davis Process will sell and distribute Kemiron's iron-based products for controlling hydrogen sulfide in municipal wastewater applications. Kemiron, a leading manufacturer and marketer of iron and aluminum salts to the municipal water and wastewater industries, will continue to provide its iron-based products and application support services directly and through other sales channels, and will work with Davis Process in expanding the municipal market for hydrogen sulfide control.

According to Lawrence Hjersted, CEO of Kemiron, "Davis is widely recognized for providing guaranteed solutions to municipal wastewater hydrogen sulfide problems, so we are excited about working with Davis Process to expand our iron-based technology for wastewater odor control".

David Hunniford, general manager for USFilter Davis Process, states "Kemiron has been a key supplier for us for more than ten years. Their recent addition of numerous manufacturing and distribution facilities enables us to expand the use of their iron-based technology to assist our clients' growing demand for full-service-odor-control programs. This agreement utilizes the production, distribution, sales, and service strengths of both organizations in a manner that will truly benefit the increased municipal demands for effective odor control."

Davis Process has more than 25 years of technical expertise in liquid phase application of iron for sulfide control. In addition, Davis Process has the equipment, service programs, and advanced dosing technologies needed to provide "odor control" customers with better, more cost-effective solutions to their odor problems.
