Seven public works professionals earn APWA Certified Stormwater Manager Credential

The American Public Works Association announced that seven public works professionals from North America have recently earned their Certified Stormwater Managers credential.

KANSAS CITY, MO, July 27, 2015 -- Today, the American Public Works Association (APWA), a not-for-profit, international organization of more than 28,500 members involved in the field of public works, announced that seven public works professionals from North America have recently earned their Certified Stormwater Managers (CSM) credential.

The APWA CSM certification is intended for water experts in both the public and private sectors who coordinate and implement stormwater management programs for city, county, state, provincial, and federal agencies. These professionals assist in administering drainage, flood control and water quality programs.

Since its inception, the APWA CSM program has credentialed 95 Certified Stormwater Managers in North America. The seven recently credentialed APWA Certified Stormwater Managers include:

  • Amy C. Murray, CSM (City of Goodlettsville, Goodlettsville, TN)
  • Bryan R. Aragon, CFM, CSM, PE (Los Alamos County, Los Alamos, NM)
  • David M. West, CFM, PE, CSM (Mohave County - Flood Control District, Kingman, AZ)
  • James H. Barse, CSM (City of Alameda, Alameda, CA)
  • Juliana Archuleta, CSM (City of Brighton, Denver, CO)
  • Michael Hunt, CSM (Metro Water Services, Nashville, TN)
  • Sheila Thomas-Ambat, CSM (City of Raleigh, Chapel Hill, NC)
