Belgium based Pollet Water Group (PWG) has acquired companies in the UK and Germany to help provide a consolidated revenue of €180 million.
Ferex Limited (trading as Euraqua UK), a manufacturer and supplier of water treatment equipment for the commercial and industrial markets within the UK and Ireland became a new member of PWG at the end of December 2015.
The second acquisition was Germany-based Aquina Wassertechnik GmbH, which distributes domestic and commercial water treatment components and assembled products.
PWG said the move will enable it to grow its market presence in Germany.
Following the two acquisitions, PWG now has more than 25 active companies. At the end of 2014 PWG took over Alamo in a bid to increase market share in the Polish water market (read WWi story).
Sofie Pollet, VP of the Pollet Water Group, said: "Adding Euraqua UK to our Group strengthens our position in the UK market whereas Aquina Wassertechnick gives us the trading hub in Germany we had been looking for.”
