Wachs Water awarded condition assessment contracts for Mid-Atlantic distribution systems

Wachs Water Services announced it has been awarded several multi-year contracts to perform condition assessment services in water distribution systems throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.


BUFFALO GROVE, IL, May 20, 2014 -- Today, Wachs Water Services, a provider of water distribution system asset management solutions, announced it has been awarded several multi-year contracts (valuing approximately $10 million) to perform condition assessment services in water distribution systems throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Clients include the Metropolitan Water District of Baltimore City and County, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, and the City of Rehoboth Beach. Much of this work will be performed with several established key partnerships that include D/MBE certified firms in the Mid-Atlantic province.

Wachs Water Services helps utilities overcome current and future water distribution challenges by offering a full range of services required to cost-effectively manage their water distribution systems including: valve management and hydrant management, pipeline condition assessment, leak detection, and GIS/CMMS mapping solutions.
