WASHINGTON -- The US Water Alliance has welcomed three new leaders to its Board of Directors: Yvonne Forrest, Director, Houston Water; Ghasson Korban, Executive Director, Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans; and John Take, Executive Vice President, Water, Stantec.
"Yvonne, Ghassan, and John are accomplished and talented individuals who've served and earned great respect in the water sector over the years. Their proven leadership and experience are gifts that will help the Alliance best serve our members and mission moving forward," said Mami Hara, Chair of the US Water Alliance Board of Directors. "I am confident that even in this uncertain moment in the country's history, the Alliance Board has the diversity of skills, perspective, and vision to meet the moment and guide the organization and One Water field to emerge even stronger."
This spring, the Alliance also thanks five dedicated Board Members whose service came to a close: George Hawkins, Founder and Executive Director, Moonshot Missions; Erik Meyers, Vice President, The Conservation Fund; Andy Richardson, Chairman and CEO, Greeley and Hansen; Kevin Shafer, Executive Director, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District; Roger Wolf, Director of Environmental Programs and Services, Iowa Soybean Association.
"The staff and I are so grateful for their inspiration, friendship, and steadfast support and guidance" noted Radhika Fox, CEO of the US Water Alliance. "Each has made an indelible mark, not only on the Alliance, but on the One Water field. Even though their Board service is ending, this is not goodbye, and we look forward to continued partnership with all of them."
