NOTTINGHAM, UK –Utility Scottish Water has awarded Xylem a five-year framework services agreement to supply and install submersible and diesel pumps for all of its rental applications across the region.
As part of the agreement, Xylem will provide Flygt electric submersible pumps, ranging from 1-750 kilowatt and Godwin CD, NC & HL diesel pumps.
The pumps will be used to support dewatering efforts as part of capital projects and on-going upgrades of existing pump stations.
Chris Stewart, Scotland Area Manager for Xylem, said: “The agreement will complement our current frameworks to provide clean water and wastewater pumps and telemetry equipment, as well as supporting our Alliance partnership with RWGM* to deliver pump repair and installation services for Scottish Water.”
