CH2M HILL and UAI team to implement software solutions to improve client operations

CH2M HILL and UAI recently announced teaming arrangements to provide software solutions for utility, municipal, state, federal, and international markets.

DENVER, Feb. 4, 2003 -- CH2M HILL and UAI (Utility Automation Integrators) recently announced teaming arrangements to provide software solutions for utility, municipal, state, federal, and international markets.

The teaming arrangement enhances both companies' abilities to respond to utility and municipal clients' growing needs to effectively manage information, control costs, and improve operational efficiencies. Several ongoing projects will provide clients throughout the United States with automated solutions based on ESRI Geographic Information System (GIS) technology.

UAI provides UtilityCenter™ , CityCenter™, and DigitalCity™, electronic mapping and operations automation systems that improve clients' responses to outages and other system emergencies, while increasing operational and management efficiencies in areas such as crew management, work order management, field design, and operations.

UAI has provided software and field services for more than 85 electric, gas, water, and wastewater utilities throughout the country.
