In 2022 the American Water Works Association (AWWA) prepared a guidebook, “Designing and Evaluating Effective and Ongoing Drought Communication.” The guidebook provides an extensive review of drought communication strategies, of various case studies, and more.

In this interview Tiffany Tran, water resources engineer for Brown and Caldwell and member of the Project Advisory Committee, shares essential drought communication tips and describes her involvement in the guidebook.
