Summary
While acoustic leak detection is not new, Kamstrup offers the first meter with acoustic leak detection built-in. The solution detects leaks on the distribution and service side of utility networks, no matter the size, pipe material or distance from the meter.
We will review traditional strategies for recovering non-revenue water, including their limitations, and explain where embedded ALD offers a more holistic and effective solution, one that enables utilities to shift from leak detection to water loss management.
