AUSTIN, TEXAS, May 20, 2015 -- The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) has officially approved financial assistance from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) in the amount of $2,025,000 for the City of Honey Grove in Fannin County, Texas.
With the approved assistance, the City will be able to finance the construction of rural water distribution lines. Further, it could save approximately $264,634 over the life of the loan by using the DWSRF.
Honey Grove plans to rehabilitate and replace approximately 30,000 linear feet of piping. When complete, the project will help to reduce water loss throughout the system.
