GOLDEN, CO, June 11, 2015 -- Water Remediation Technology LLC (WRT), a water treatment company, recently announced that construction of its new media production and processing facility is officially underway. Located in the city of Golden, Colo., the plant provides expanded media production, processing and storage capabilities for WRT's proprietary treatment media products and OEM customers and business partners.
Scheduled for completion in July 2015, the new facility will allow WRT to meet the increasing demand for Z-88® Radium Removal Media and Z-92® Uranium Removal Media; develop and produce other proprietary treatment media; and continue to grow and develop original equipment manufacturer (OEM) media production and processing business partnerships.
The facility includes capabilities for material wet processing, dewatering, rinsing, and packaging. Material-handling capabilities include liquid and solids transfers from bulk transport containers, drums and supersacks. The new plant will accommodate indoor loading/unloading of full-size trailers and bulk transport tankers for year-round operations in addition to heated and ventilated storage for standard palletized containers. A QA/QC laboratory is located within the building.
The environmentally friendly facility includes a comprehensive water treatment and recovery system, solar energy power and other energy-efficient design elements.
