April 30, 2003 -- CMT has made available free GIS, SURVEY and GPS software for educational purposes, the software company announced.
Many Universities have already taken advantage of this software, such as the University of Florida, National Institute of Oceanography, Stark State College of Technology, University of Otago New Zealand, Cleveland State College, Western Illinois University, Wallace State Community College, and ITT Technical Institute. Many high schools use the software for their math and science departments as well.
