Carolyn Chin elected to CH2M HILL board of directors

Technology, marketing, and financial expert Carolyn Chin was elected to the CH2M HILL Board of Directors at the firm's annual shareholders meeting in Denver.

DENVER, Colo., May 6, 2003 -- Technology, marketing, and financial expert Carolyn Chin was elected to the CH2M HILL Board of Directors at the firm's annual shareholders meeting in Denver.

Chin is chairman of C3 Partners, a consulting firm that advises companies and non-profits on strategy, marketing, e-commerce, technology and general management. She also is chairman of the Board of Commtouch (Nasdaq), a provider of anti-SPAM solutions.

Chin also served as chairman of the Board and interim CEO for KindMark, a provider of e-philanthropy technology and services. Her other prior experience includes senior positions at MarketXT, Reuters America, IBM, Citibank, AT&T, Macy's, and the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development and Health, Education, Welfare. At IBM, she was the founder and general manager of e-Commerce Services worldwide, laying a foundation for IBM's leadership in e-Business.

In addition to her position on the CH2M HILL Board of Directors, Chin has served on corporate boards and advisory boards including: Allegiance Bank; EJV Partners; Citicorp Retail Services; MediaPearls; Northwestern Mutual Life; Global Asset Management; Avis; Horton; and Swissotel.

Her non-profit involvement includes Committee for Economic Development (CED), Business Executives for National Security (BENS), American Management Association (AMA), NYC Outward Bound, Committee of 100, and Redford Institute.

She also served as a member of the U.S. delegation to the Dartmouth Conferences for bilateral discussions with the USSR, and she was a U.S. delegate to bilateral discussions with China on trade and Taiwan.

Chin received an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and was a White House Fellow. She currently resides in New York City and New Jersey.
