Now operating DCWWA’s nine water treatment and six wastewater treatment plants, Inframark grows its presence in the Hudson Valley.

The Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority (DCWWA) in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., has awarded a multi-year partnership to Inframark LLC, a company specializing in water and wastewater facility management.

The partnership delegates the operation of DCWWA’s nine water treatment and six wastewater treatment plants to Inframark. Inframark began operation of the plants on January 1. The addition of DCWWA’s facilities builds upon Inframark’s growing presence in the state, where it also operates 10 other projects.

“The DCWWA looks forward to a strong working relationship with Inframark, and the benefits that their expertise can provide to the customers of our water and wastewater systems,” said Bridget Barclay, Executive Director of the DCWWA.

“Inframark is excited about the addition of the DCWWA to our growing list of partnerships in the Empire State,” said Jerry Shupe, Vice President of Inframark’s Mid-Atlantic Region. “We will utilize our resources and expertise to ensure we provide the Authority and its customers with the safe, compliant, and cost-effective water and wastewater services they deserve.”
