SSPMA announces scholarship winners

Talia Servant and Tyler Kleinsasser each received a scholarship of $2,500 as part of the Sump and Sewage Pump Manufacturers Association’s 2022 Scholarship Program.

The Sump and Sewage Pump Manufacturers Association (SSPMA) announced that Talia Servant and Tyler Kleinsasser have been selected as the recipients of its 2022 SSPMA Scholarship Program.

Servant and Kleinsasser will each receive a scholarship of $2500. Servant will be attending Michigan Technological University in the fal,l where she is working toward a degree in Environmental Science. Kleinsasser will be attending the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where he is working toward a Master’s degree in Civil & Environmental, Engineering Management.

The scholarship program is open to students working toward an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s degree, or appropriate certification/trade associated with wastewater management. Next year, 2023 applicants may apply online at www.sspma.org/scholarship beginning February 1, 2023.

Formed in 1956, the Sump and Sewage Pump Manufacturers Association is a North American trade organization representing a majority of the manufacturers of sump, effluent & sewage pumps, together with component and accessory suppliers.
