Zero Maintenance Rubber Check Valves

May 5, 2022
The ProFlex 700 valves, designed to be maintenance-free, continue to provide full port flow while defending against backflow.

Proco Products Inc. is the world’s largest supplier of expansion joints and Rubber Duckbill check valves. Its latest contribution to the industry is the Series 700 ProFlex™ check valve product line. Rubber check valves are a cost-effective way to control back pressures from sewage treatment plants, outfalls, and tidal operations. All Proco check valves are manufactured completely of barnacle-resistant rubber with a top-quality fungicide.

A unique feature of the ProFlex check valves is that they are designed to be a “zero maintenance” valve. The valves’ simple design allows effluent to force the two opposing rubber lips apart, permitting flow, yet quickly closing to prevent the return of tailings or slurries. The ProFlex 700 valves continue to provide full port flow while defending against backflow.

In addition to a dynamic product range, Proco aims to accommodate as many industry standards as possible. One of the most recent certifications that Proco has acquired is NSF/ANSI 61 Standard certification on its Rubber EPDM Expansion Joints and ProFlex Rubber Check Valve product line. WW
