The wet-end components of Vanton’s Chem-Gard® line of horizontal, centrifugal pumps are constructed of injection-molded, homogeneous, corrosion-resistant thermoplastic materials such as polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). These materials are 100% inert to fluids across the entire pH range. Along with other non-metallic materials that are also 100% inert to acids, caustics, ultrapure fluids, chlorides, unknown waste/effluent streams and other aggressive and abrasive chemicals, Vanton’s line of products feature a sealless, magnetically-driven design along with a range of ANSI, self-priming, and close-coupled pumps.

Landfill pumpQED Environmental Systems’ Autopump Ultra 4.5 for landfills, features technology that eases wear, cleaning and maintenance. The Autopump Ultra 4.5 features increased clearance between the float and discharge tube (three times the clearance of the previous version), as well as increased clearance between the float and outer casing. This cost-saving improvement allows for more high solids and precipitate to be pumped without the pump stalling, extending usage between cleaning and maintenance breaks.

Drinking water system componentThorPlas-White is the newest material in the Thordon bearing family, specifically developed to operate as a drinking water system component used in the treatment and distribution of potable water. It has been listed by the NSF International Certification for NSF/ANSI 61 Drinking Water System Components. ThorPlas-White is an engineered thermoplastic alloy that was specifically designed for high strength, low friction and dry start-ups. Typically used as a replacement for greased bronze and roller bearings or vertical pump bearings but can be used in a variety of other applications.

Butterfly valvesVal-Matic’s American-BFV® Butterfly Valves are available in a wide range of pressure classes. Continuous uninterrupted seating and the unique Tri-Loc™ Seat Retention System assure seat integrity and allow for field adjustment/replacement without the need for special tools or epoxies. A ductile iron disc adds strength, allowing the disc to have a smaller cross section and providing improved head loss characteristics. Offered in 150B and 250B AWWA Classes with flanged end connections in sizes 3”-144” and mechanical joint end connections in 4”-48”. Wafer Style Butterfly Valves are designed with ANSI 125 flanges or ISO PN10 and PN16 flanges in sizes 4”-24”.
