HORSHAM, PA -- Inframark, LLC, is pleased to announce that the City of McComb, Miss., has selected the company to continue its partnership for the operation and maintenance of its 5 million gallons per day (MGD) wastewater treatment facility and two lift stations for another five years. The McComb Regional Wastewater Facility is a biological nutrient removal (BNR) facility using a vertical loop reactor aeration process, the first facility in Mississippi to use that technology. This extension ensures that Inframark will continue to maintain its strong, cost-efficient footprint in the Magnolia State, which also includes operations in six other communities.
“As a representative for the City of McComb, the municipality is very pleased with the operation of the wastewater treatment plant,” said McComb’s Director of Public Works Alice C. Barnes. “Inframark keeps us abreast on how the plant is operating and limits are met monthly. Thank you for the excellent service.”
Inframark has been providing full-service public-private contracts for operation, maintenance and management of wastewater treatment facilities in Mississippi for nearly 40 years (more than 100 contract years), with a large number of back-up technical resources that are second to none in the industry. The company also provides more expertise than any other operator in the state.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with the City of McComb,” said Inframark’s Vice President Larry Malcom. “The citizens of McComb deserve quality wastewater services and Inframark will continue to provide that to them.”
